Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Finnish metal institution continues to refine their incredibly sorrowful, sweeping approach to melodic death metal. Welcoming guitarist Markus Vanhala into the fold, the compositions heavily expand their clean vocal sections and atmospheric acoustic interludes without sacrificing the crushing, doom-laden riffs. It is widely considered one of the absolute peaks of modern European melodic death metal.
