Marauder
by Interpol
Working with outside producer Dave Fridmann for the first time in over a decade, the iconic New York post-punk outfit recorded directly to two-inch tape to capture a noticeably grittier, rawer energy. The album is propulsive and incredibly rhythmic, driven by Paul Banks' charismatic vocal delivery and themes of romantic and personal accountability. It served as a highly energetic, slightly lo-fi revitalization for the veteran band.
