Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally an instrumental project, the Canadian progressive metal outfit introduces full-time vocalist Mike Semesky for this highly melodic, remarkably technical debut full-length. 'A Voice Within' masterfully balances incredibly dense, heavily syncopated djent guitar riffs and polyrhythms with soaring, fiercely passionate clean vocal choruses. The album is a brilliantly executed, wonderfully energetic, and profoundly complex addition to the modern progressive metal canon.
