Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Listen Like Thieves' marked a significant breakthrough for the Australian sextet in the international market, transitioning them from new wave quirkiness into arena-ready rock. Produced by Chris Thomas, the album refined their rhythmic, funk-inflected sound with sharper guitar riffs and Michael Hutchence's increasingly charismatic vocal delivery. The record laid the crucial stylistic groundwork for their massive global domination later in the decade.
