Album Notes & Community Reviews

The highly accomplished British ensemble Iona fully realizes their lush, deeply spiritual vision on 'Journey Into the Morn'. The album flawlessly marries highly complex, synthesizer-driven progressive rock instrumentation directly with traditional Celtic instrumentation like Uilleann pipes and whistles. Fronted by Joanne Hogg's incredibly ethereal vocals, it stands as a widely celebrated, remarkably uplifting masterpiece of progressive Celtic fusion.
