Album Notes & Community Reviews

Returning from a tumultuous five-year hiatus marked by severe alcoholism and financial ruin, the TDE rapper delivered a stunningly laid-back, deeply reflective comeback album. Heavily rooted in deeply Southern, molasses-thick trap and jazz-rap production, he utilizes a conversational, mumbled delivery to process his trauma and recent path to sobriety. The highly anticipated project was praised as a mature, remarkably smooth triumph over personal demons.
