Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded at his Plum Creek Sound studio in the Texas Hill Country and released via Desert Folklore, 'Sweetheart of the Rodeo' sees Israel Nash completely reimagining The Byrds' landmark 1968 country-rock album. Reshaping the tracklist and arrangements with arpeggiated synthesizers, programmed percussion, weeping pedal steel, and panoramic ambient textures, Nash transforms the classic songs into modern psychedelic Americana.
