Album Notes & Community Reviews

On his fourth studio effort, Ivan Lins began to fully synthesize his sprawling baroque-pop ambitions with sophisticated samba-jazz rhythms. The album's incredibly lush, sweeping orchestrations provide a gorgeous backdrop for his poetic lyrical themes regarding romantic melancholy and profound political subtlety.
