Album Notes & Community Reviews
The Amsterdam Ives Ensemble perform Morton Feldman's 'String Quartet (II)', a work of roughly six hours whose quiet, slowly shifting patterns epitomize his late style. The recording is a document of endurance listening, its introspective surface built from near-silent, precisely placed gestures.
