Album Notes & Community Reviews
Breaking his famously rigid 'no features' rule, the North Carolina hip-hop titan recruited guests like 21 Savage and Morray to bring a renewed, competitive energy to his sixth studio album. The project was explicitly conceived as a lyrical exercise, focusing heavily on intricate wordplay and aggressive beat selections rather than sprawling concepts. It was a massive commercial success, debuting at number one and earning a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album.
