Album Notes & Community Reviews

Led by the avant-garde French trumpeter Jac Berrocal, this incredibly sparse, deeply atmospheric session is a foundational document of European free improvisation. Relying on unconventional instrumentation, guttural vocalizations, and profound stretches of silence, the trio creates a challenging, highly textural soundscape. The album is a brilliant, uncompromising rejection of traditional jazz structures and melodic expectations.
