Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Australian songwriter delivers a remarkably gloomy and cinematic set of baritone-led narratives, drawing heavy stylistic comparisons to Nick Cave. 'Hurtsville' features stark, gothic country and post-punk arrangements that perfectly frame his bleak, often painfully romantic lyricism.
