Album Notes & Community Reviews
Solidifying his status as a premier Hammond B-3 practitioner, 'The Honeydripper' finds Jack McDuff laying down intensely grooving, blues-based jazz. Supported by the muscular tenor saxophone of Jimmy Forrest, the record captures the quintessential grit and swagger of the era's soul-jazz movement.
