Album Notes & Community Reviews
Continuing their evolution from chaotic noise improvisation towards structured avant-folk, the Portland collective delivers a remarkably cohesive and melodic album. Led by Tom Greenwood, the tracks merge extended, motorik rhythms with classic Americana structures, deeply indebted to the aesthetics of 1970s krautrock. The recording represents a highly focused, deeply psychedelic phase in the group's famously erratic history.
