Album Notes & Community Reviews

Rejuvenating his career through a crucial collaboration with producer Carl Davis, 'Whispers' effectively transitions Jackie Wilson into the burgeoning Chicago soul movement. The sophisticated brass and string arrangements provide a dynamic, uptempo framework that perfectly complements his extraordinarily athletic, operatic vocal range.
