Album Notes & Community Reviews

A stark departure from his earlier introspective work, this release finds the celebrated songwriter delivering a sharp critique of American foreign policy. Featuring robust 80s rock arrangements, the record explicitly condemns political violence and governmental corruption, particularly regarding interventions in Central America. It stands as one of the defining protest albums of the Reagan era.
