Album Notes & Community Reviews

After releasing a highly influential string of EPs, the debut full-length from the Montreal producer refines his emotive, club-oriented sound. The tracking revolves around incredibly warm analog synthesizer pads and syncopated, garage-inflected drum patterns that frequently sample and pitch-shift 1990s R&B vocal acapellas. The record creates a deeply melancholic, nostalgic atmosphere explicitly designed for late-night dancefloors.
