Album Notes & Community Reviews

Debuting on the legendary Vertigo swirl label, this British trio immediately established a wholly unique sonic signature built upon jarring dynamic shifts. The music effortlessly alternates between whisper-quiet, Eastern-tinged acoustic meditation鈥攈eavily utilizing flutes and congas鈥攁nd sudden, violently distorted heavy-psych riffs. This compelling juxtaposition of serene beauty and aggressive power laid the template for their highly original discography.
