Last Autumn's Dream

Album Notes & Community Reviews

For their final album on the Vertigo label, the British ensemble perfected their unique juxtaposition of abrasive heavy rock and delicate, Asian-influenced acoustic soundscapes. The aggressive, fuzzed-out electric guitar riffs frequently dissolve into whisper-quiet interludes of flutes and hand percussion, creating a jarring but fascinating dynamic contrast. Despite strong critical notices, poor label support doomed the record to commercial failure.
