Album Notes & Community Reviews

The band's second album of 1971 expanded their sonic palette by introducing a full-time drummer and heavily incorporating jazz-inflected brass sections. While retaining the jarring shifts between pastoral flutes and heavy-psych guitar fuzz, the arrangements stretch into looser, more improvisational jam structures. Highlighted by the sprawling, fourteen-minute 'Barazinbar', it is a thrillingly unpredictable highlight of the Vertigo catalog.
