Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Jaki Byard With Strings!' pairs the highly eclectic, historically conscious pianist with unconventional, dissonant string arrangements. The sessions brilliantly navigate between traditional ragtime structures and sweeping, avant-garde impressionism, standing as a unique third-stream experiment.
