Album Notes & Community Reviews
Tacuma's first solo album, 'Show Stopper' grows directly out of the jazz-funk he developed as electric bassist in Ornette Coleman's Prime Time. His chordal, melodic bass leads the ensemble through tightly arranged instrumentals, two years after he received the highest number of votes ever recorded for an electric bassist in the Down Beat critics poll category for talent deserving wider recognition.
