Friends That Break Your Heart

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Delivering a remarkably straightforward and accessible pop-soul effort, the British producer focuses heavily on the emotional toll of platonic breakups and fading friendships. The album trades his signature abstract electronic experimentalism for traditional songwriting structures, lush analog synths, and hip-hop influenced drum programming. The star-studded project features notable guest vocals from SZA and JID.
