Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded during a hiatus for the Manic Street Preachers, 'The Great Western' is the debut solo effort from the band's frontman and lead guitarist. The album tempers his usual aggressive rock stylings with highly melodic, power-pop influenced alternative rock arrangements. The record was praised for its intimate, singer-songwriter approach and strong vocal performances.
