Album Notes & Community Reviews

Arriving at the tail end of the singer-songwriter era's commercial peak, 'Flag' offers a polished, warmly produced collection of gentle pop-rock and folk-infused ballads. The record includes a mix of new original material alongside well-chosen covers, tailored heavily for soft-rock radio formats. While criticized by some for its breezy aesthetic, it maintained Taylor's status as a dominant voice in adult contemporary music.
