Album Notes & Community Reviews

Making his high-profile debut for Columbia Records under the meticulous production of Peter Asher, the folk-pop veteran delivers a colossal commercial comeback. The album smooths out his acoustic introspection with pristine studio sheen, incorporating gentle R&B rhythms and slick backing vocals. It features his massive, definitive cover of 'Handy Man', firmly establishing him as an architect of the late-1970s adult contemporary sound.
