Album Notes & Community Reviews

Moving significantly away from the traditional acoustic folk of his debut, the Irish singer-songwriter extensively incorporates heavily layered vocal harmonies and electronic production. Recorded near the Texas-Mexico border, 'Post Tropical' features incredibly lush, R&B-inflected rhythms and prominent synthesizer elements beneath his soaring, soulful falsetto. The record is a remarkably warm, deeply atmospheric, and brilliantly produced art-pop evolution.
