Album Notes & Community Reviews

James White and The Blacks' 'Sax Maniac' delivers raw funk rock and dance-punk energy with jazz-funk saxophone flourishes. The album's chaotic grooves capture the no wave-adjacent scene's experimental spirit. It remains a vital release in James Chance's catalog.
