Album Notes & Community Reviews

Taking its title from a Toni Morrison quote, the Chicago R&B artist鈥檚 third album is a profoundly intimate exploration of the various stages of romance and self-discovery. 'Water Made Us' is defined by incredibly lush, water-themed electronic production and Woods' effortlessly smooth, poetic vocal delivery. The project pivots slightly away from the historical narratives of her previous work toward deeply personal, introspective soul.
