Album Notes & Community Reviews

Attempting to pivot from their signature surf-pop sound, Jan & Dean fully embrace the burgeoning acoustic-electric hybrid movement on 'Folk 'n Roll'. The album applies their trademark Californian vocal harmonies to contemporary folk-rock structures, occasionally interjecting an unusual strain of conservative political sentimentality.
