Album Notes & Community Reviews
Janet Jackson's sophomore studio effort represents a transitional phase in her early career, heavily influenced by the burgeoning freestyle and synth-funk movements. Though it was her final project overseen by her family before breaking out with 'Control', the album yielded the minor hit "Don't Stand Another Chance", featuring backing vocals from her brother Michael.
