Departing from his highly acclaimed collaborative work with Jellyfish and The Grays, the multi-instrumentalist exerted absolute control over his solo debut. Falkner meticulously performed nearly every instrument on the record, resulting in a pristine, complex tapestry of neo-psychedelic power pop. The album remains a critically adored, cult-classic touchstone for highly melodic, structurally ambitious 1990s alternative rock.
