Melancholia

Album Notes & Community Reviews

This collaboration between the South London emcee and producer explores a surreal and nocturnal brand of hip-hop. The record integrates the repetitive rhythmic drive of the jerk subgenre with expansive, ethereal atmosphere and lethargic vocal flows. The project documents the cross-pollination between underground rap and contemporary electronic sound design within the London urban landscape.
