Album Notes & Community Reviews

Former Spirit and Jo Jo Gunne member Jay Ferguson pivots toward breezy, highly produced pop rock with 'Thunder Island'. Anchored by the massive, laid-back title track (featuring Joe Walsh on guitar), the album perfectly encapsulates the slick yacht rock and AOR sound dominating the era. It stands as his most successful solo commercial achievement.
