Album Notes & Community Reviews

Named after the zip code of his native Watts neighborhood in Los Angeles, this sophomore release firmly re-established the rapper within the powerhouse Top Dawg Entertainment roster. The project expertly blends gritty, traditional West Coast gangsta rap narratives with the moody, jazz-inflected production typical of his labelmates. It notably features all four members of the Black Hippy collective on a single track for the first time in years.
