Ego

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Despite their moniker suggesting purely avant-garde leanings, 'Ego' finds the French ensemble delivering a tightly wound, incredibly precise set of electric jazz fusion. The group relies heavily on fluid, complex time signatures and sophisticated brass arrangements driven by an aggressive rock rhythm section. It is a highly respected, exceptionally rare release that highlights the advanced technical proficiency of the Parisian underground.
