Album Notes & Community Reviews

The acclaimed Montreal avant-garde composer and multi-instrumentalist directs a massive, highly skilled ensemble for this intense suite of structured free improvisation. The tracking aggressively clashes skronking, atonal brass sections and erratic percussion against terrifying stretches of complete silence and electroacoustic tape manipulation. The demanding double album acts as an homage to historic resistance movements and a monument of Canadian experimental music.
