Album Notes & Community Reviews

A landmark album in underground hip-hop, 'Violent by Design' is the magnum opus of Philadelphia group Jedi Mind Tricks. The record is defined by the stark contrast between Vinnie Paz's brutally aggressive, multi-syllabic rhymes and producer Stoupe the Enemy of Mankind's dark, cinematic, and often beautiful sample-based beats. Its raw intensity, complex lyricism, and iconic production have made it an enduring classic.
