Album Notes & Community Reviews

A striking departure from his abrasive post-hardcore origins, the songwriter delivers an incredibly delicate, primarily acoustic solo debut. His astonishing, profoundly beautiful falsetto voice immediately draws comparisons to Elliott Smith, effortlessly guiding the intricate fingerpicking and devastatingly melancholic melodies. The record remains a highly acclaimed, deeply emotional classic of the early 2000s indie-folk revival.
