Album Notes & Community Reviews

The final studio album of all-new material from the original lineup of the San Francisco psychedelic pioneers is marked by a noticeably gritty, hard-rock edge. Featuring the unique cigar-box folding cover art, the music reflects the internal fracturing and exhaustion of the band, leaning heavily into ragged blues jams and cynical lyrical themes. Following its release and subsequent tour, the group effectively splintered into Jefferson Starship and Hot Tuna.
