Album Notes & Community Reviews

Navigating the commercial demands of the 1980s, the veteran San Francisco group heavily integrated synthesizers and electronic drums into their stadium rock sound. The Peter Wolf-produced 'Nuclear Furniture' generated the major hit 'No Way Out', yet the slick, synth-pop direction caused severe internal friction. The resulting creative differences led to the departure of founding member Paul Kantner shortly after its release.
