Album Notes & Community Reviews

The quintessential New York anti-folk troubadour offers a highly unexpected but entirely sincere tribute to the seminal British anarcho-punk band Crass. By stripping their venomous, feedback-drenched anthems down to gentle acoustic strumming and conversational singing, Lewis radically recontextualizes the brilliant lyrical poetry hidden within the original noise.
