Album Notes & Community Reviews
'The Linden Trees Are Still in Blossom' is a re-recorded and expanded version of Jens Lekman's 2007 album, 'Night Falls Over Kortedala', reworked after the original was removed from circulation due to sample clearance issues. The album retains its predecessor's witty, autobiographical lyricism and lush, string-laden chamber pop arrangements, blending faithful reproductions with new versions and previously unreleased tracks. Lekman's songwriting continues to center on poignant and often humorous vignettes of romance, friendship, and everyday mishaps, presented through his distinctive, heartfelt baritone.
