Slow Dance

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The American singer-songwriter delivers a highly stylized, cinematic collection of sophisticated indie pop on his second full-length album. Heavily influenced by 1980s new wave and the detached cool of early post-punk, Jay's deep, crooning vocals glide over steady motorik beats and subtle synthesizer lines. It perfectly captures a deeply nostalgic, slightly aloof romantic atmosphere.
