Album Notes & Community Reviews
The legendary Alice in Chains guitarist and vocalist delivers his heaviest solo outing to date, backed by a formidable rhythm section of modern rock and metal luminaries. Steeping his signature dissonant vocal harmonies in sludgy, doom-laden guitar riffs, the record is profoundly dark, heavily melancholic, and undeniably depressive. 'I Want Blood' is a masterful, deeply nocturnal continuation of his influential Seattle grunge legacy.
