Album Notes & Community Reviews

Acting somewhat as a companion piece to the Grateful Dead's 'Blues for Allah', this solo effort actually features the entire Dead lineup as the backing band on a significant portion of the tracks. The record balances laid-back, rootsy Americana with gentle, improvisational blues-rock structures. It captures the iconic guitarist in a deeply relaxed, reflective period following the band's temporary touring hiatus.
