Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded during a brief period of downtime for the Grateful Dead, the legendary guitarist's fourth solo album offers a relaxed, distinctly laid-back set of reggae-inflected and bluesy rock tunes. Featuring the extensive lyrical contributions of Robert Hunter and keyboard work from Melvin Seals, the project faithfully captures the loose, jam-oriented spirit of his live ensemble.
