Album Notes & Community Reviews

Firmly cementing his highly successful, late-sixties transition into a pure country music superstar, 'The Killer' delivered an impeccably polished set of honky-tonk standards. The title track perfectly highlights his ability to convey deep, authentic heartbreak without losing his trademark, swaggering piano flourishes. The album proved that his commanding, charismatic presence remained entirely undiminished within the traditional Nashville framework.
