Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by Blake Mills, 'Memories Are Now' is a sparse, raw, and rhythmically inventive album that places Jesca Hoop's singular voice and guitar work at the forefront. The record is a powerful and confident collection of songs, with intricate, percussive guitar playing providing a dynamic backdrop for her poetic, often confrontational lyrics. It's a masterfully stripped-back work that showcases the pure, undeniable force of her talent.
