Album Notes & Community Reviews
Produced by John Parish, 'Stonechild' is a dark, atmospheric, and sonically adventurous album. The record blends Jesca Hoop's intricate indie-folk songwriting with a richer, more experimental palette of sounds, including vintage electronics and processed vocals. It's a powerful and politically charged work that explores themes of history, motherhood, and societal divisions with a poetic and uncompromising vision.
